The Friends of Kelbrook

Our PTA is known as ‘The Friends of Kelbrook’ so that we can include everyone with an association to our School – parents, guardians, grandparents, staff, voluntary helpers, teachers, parents of school leavers etc. We feel that school should be at the heart of the community and hope that we represent this.

The Committee has regular members listed below

Chair – Rowena Berry

Christine Gascoigne, Rachel Gorton, Shevonne Metcalfe, Charlotte Scotland and Helen Shuttleworth

We would also like to thank our other regular volunteers for their continued support. However, you do not need to be a committee member to help run a stall at an event, provide a raffle prize, help with refreshments, make suggestions for fundraising activities etc. The school benefits financially and socially from all your efforts, which are greatly appreciated.

Funds raised by The Friends of Kelbrook are used to enhance the school environment for your child, and in turn we would love you to get involved with our activities. The current financial climate makes fundraising for school more important than ever.

Reminders of events, meetings and other news are usually sent out on the school’s Class Dojo as well as on the newsreels and displayed in our on-site notice board. If you would like to get involved or have suggestions for fundraising events or how the money raised should be spent please catch us in the playground or come to one of our meetings. As a volunteer/member you are not obliged to attend every meeting.

Our School Lottery

The Kelbrook Friends’ Committee take part in ‘Your School Lottery’ which allows year-round fundraising where 70% of the money from tickets purchased gets put into our school. There’s a guaranteed winner of a small Kelbrook pot every single week and the chance to win big in the Jackpot Draws and Super Draws.
