PSHE at Kelbrook Primary School
Our PSHE curriculum has a strong focus on positive physical, emotional and mental health and well-being and is a key element of learning at Kelbrook School. It starts with the very youngest children in EYFS when meeting their Personal, Social and Emotional Development needs. PSHE is recognised as a key subject area and is a high priority across whole-school initiatives, and our curriculum design has our children’s health, well-being and personal development at its heart. At Kelbrook we value and nurture every child and believe PSHE to be a key factor in their happiness and love of learning.
The aim of the PSHE curriculum at Kelbrook School is to help give children the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to lead confident, healthy, independent lives and to become informed, active and responsible citizens who are able to grow as individuals and contribute to the life of their school and communities.
